This is a piece of Macklemore fanart.

I went to his show last week and I loved it, he did an amazing performance, sounds great live and seemed like a pretty likable and down-to-earth guy.

He also commented on Germany’s refugee policies, applauding us for being so open. He commented on white priviledge and social injustices towards black people. He commented on equal rights for LGBTQ+. What a night…

I somewhat tried to look like Macklemore (similar to here), and since all he does these days is wearing Tank Tops, I put that on and combed and sprayed my hair back in a fashion that it would look similar to his undercut.

So, those who know me know I like two things a lot: Aurelio Voltaire and doing artsy or crafty stuff, such as photography and crocheting.
Which is why I made this cute little beanie of Deady the Bear. The design is by my favourite musician, Aurelio Voltaire, who had a hat in that style for sale a few years ago.

But ever since I became a fan of Voltaire, the beanie’s been sold out. So I finally gave up waiting for it to be sold again and decided to make one myself. It was an odyssey involving having to open and redo the beginning five times, learning a different style/method of crocheting and ending up with a beanie too small for me 😂, which I then gave it to the cute little son of someone from my Uni. I then made version 2.0 which finally worked out and it’s beautiful 😍 Approx. 12 hours of work each beanie, but totally worth it.

Not a single sheet of paper can determine my worth and value as both a woman and a human. Not even the paper they printed my 10k degree on.

We turn body shaming into “fun challenges”, but then we mock women for dieting, and bully people when they have eating disorders.

I want everybody to feel beautiful, no matter how big or small. We need to teach all people to love themselves for who they are and stop making their value dependant on their looks.

This I took mid-December, 2014. Normally, I would get pretty excited when the sun came out, but when a light jacket is enough to walk around alpine December… something went wrong.
